It has transpired that X Factor sensations Conor and Sean Price have a Boyle connection.
The Wicklow teenagers have been making it big on the ITV show with Nicole Scherzinger comparing Conor’s voice to an “Irish rock version of Justin Bieber”.
The duo’s great, great, grandfather was the Sexton of the Church of Ireland on Green Steet in Boyle many years ago.
His name was Jason Price and he was a Boyle native who died in 1920.
It is understood relations of Conor and Sean’s Dad John, live in the Boyle area.
