William to take on Cavetown Ironman Challenge
A local man is planning to undertake an ‘Iron Man’ challenge on Sunday July 4th.
William Little from Eastersnow near Croghan will swim 3.8km in Cavetown Lake, cycle 180km around a circuit and then run 42.2km around the Lake – all to raise funds for the North West Hospice.
William, who is a member of the Lough Key Triathlon Club said: ” Racing has came to a complete stop due to COVID. I really want to put my training to good use and raise much needed funds for North West Hospice. Anyone in a position to donate a few euros to a great cause would be greatly appreciated”.
To date William has raised €3,400 of his target of €5,000.
You can donate on Facebook via ‘William’s Fundraiser for the North West Hospice Sligo’ or on William Little Facebook page.
