If you noticed a larger than usual number of parents and children walking to school in Boyle today it wasn’t just as a result of the spring like weather but the start of the first “Walk on Wednesday” (WOW) day as part of the Scoil na nAingeal Naofa Green-Schools Ireland travel theme.
It is planned to have more pupils walking in the Summer Term so please be mindful of the extra parents and children on the footpaths each Wednesday and allow them to cross to the school safely.
