I.T. Field Service Engineer Required
Trojan is a vibrant Roscommon based IT Company specialising in providing complete hardware and software solutions for Small to Medium sized businesses nationwide. We are offering a full time position for a highly motivated and conscientious person with responsibility for on-site service and support of our customers. This relates to all technology, to include: workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications, as well as virtual environments
• Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
• Implement and support disaster recovery solutions
• Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
• System documentation to include system reviews and recommendations
• Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
Experience / Knowledge & Skills Required:
• 2 Years Minimum Experience within field service position
• Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE
• Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Desktop, Server, Exchange, Office 365 and Terminal Services
• Knowledge of Anti-Virus technology software & best practises,
• Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
• Remote access solution implementation and support
• Back Up Software and Disaster Recovery Planning
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
• Full Clean Driving Licence Essential
