Tickets are now on sale for a fundraising concert in King House with proceeds going to the Irish Cancer Society.
Local pianist Lenny Chen will be joined by fellow musicians Tiantian Gao, Ryan Keogh and Simon Keogh in this special event on Sunday 18th December at 2pm in King House.
Lenny Chen is a talented young man with a bright future as a concert pianist. Apart from successes in National piano competitions: Riam PianoFest, Newpark Festival 2022, Henle Competition 2022, Irish youth piano festival 2022, Lenny had his first solo concert in Boyle Art Festival.
Lenny is a 6th class student at St Joseph BNS. He plays Gaelic and Hurling for Boyle GAA club.
Also on the evening of Sunday 18th, at 7pm Denis Yavorsky will take to the stage in King House with another classical piano performance and you never know who might join him.
Denis is one of Ukraine’s leading Pianists. He lectures at the Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Kyiv. He has been granted permission by the Ukrainian Government to travel abroad and showcase his country’s vibrant and distinctive music culture in these troubled times by the kind invitation of King House in Boyle. Denis has played at the National Concert Hall in 2018 and 2019
All the proceeds from this event will go the Irish Cancer Society Research Fund and is very kindly sponsored by New Thai New Tai Chi Court, Chinese Restaurant. Tickets are priced @€15.
