United Nations veterans lay wreath
A wreath was laid on Monday at Boyle Courthouse on behalf of Boyle United Nations veterans.
The wreath is in rememberance of all the Irish men, women and children who lost their lives during the Easter Week Rising in 1916.
Those who lost their lives in the Niemba Ambush on the 8th November 1960 were also remembered.
Today’s ceremony follows a 1916 commeration on Sunday at Boyle Courthouse organised by Boyle Branch Ex Servicemen and Women.
