The briefing for marshals for the Lough Key Classic will take place in the Sports Complex which is the event HQ at 8am Saturday morning.
Could all marshals please attend.
Traffic restrictions will come into force this evening Friday for Saturday’s Lough Key Classic cycling sportive and the assistance of the public is requested.
From Friday evening parking will not be permitted on the town side of the road in the areas along by Callans/Smith Kelly Scott or near corners in this area.
This road will be reduced to one lane from 8am Saturday morning until approximately 3pm that day.
Cyclists will depart Saturday from the Crescent at 9am and 10.30am, returning in from the Mocmoyne direction in the afternoon.
Marshals will be on all corners in the town and along the route and your cooperation is appreciated in advance to ensure safe running of the event.
Also on Saturday night there will be a post sportive get together in Patrick’s Well with music by David Byrne. Everyone is welcome.
