The organisers of this years Daffodil Day in Boyle take this opportunity to say thank you to the following:
The collectors, the business people who allowed the collections to take place on their premises and who provided refreshments throughout the day, the staff and students of Scoil na nAingeal Naofa and Abbey Community College, the lady who donated the takings of her yoga class, to the staff and inmates of Castlerea Prison for donating daffodil bulbs, the staff and residents of both the Plunkett Home and Drumderrig Nursing Home, the local media outlets for advertising and most importantly to the people who contributed so generously to this collection.
The final amount collected was €7993.10.
