Celebrating Heritage Week in Boyle
Three free events are taking place today Thursday in Boyle to celebrate Heritage Week:
11am -2pm Steps of King House – Mighty Moths
Come along to the front steps of King House to see a moth trap being opened to reveal what wonderful creatures are found flying around the grounds of King House during the night while you are asleep!
Join Michael Bell from Nature Learn to learn about moths. This is an outdoor event so please wear suitable clothes and footwear. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
12pm -1pm Steps of King House – Family Nature Walk
Meet at the front steps to King House and take a family nature walk through the pleasure grounds beside King House with Michael Bell from Nature Learn.
See what trees, flowers, insects, birds or animals you might find along the way. This is an outdoor event so please wear suitable clothes and footwear. Children must be supervised by an adult.
2pm – 3.15pm Boyle 2040 and Historic Towns Initiative
Boyle 2040 is about embracing the challenge of sympathetically adapting Boyle from a 20th century market town to a new economy & a new town centre community. Meet at King House Boyle to discover more.
