Roscommon County Council has published a notice of their intention to close the N61 Tulsk to Boyle (Gortnacrannagh) road.
The closure will be for a period of 14 weeks from May 12th to August 18th 2025
The section of closure starts at 200m south of the N61 Junction with the R369, to 200m north of the N61 Junction with the L-6117
The proposed diversion is via the N5 at Tulsk, as far as Frenchpark and onto the R361 Boyle Road. Motorists can also divert via R369 in both directions at Shankill Cross.
The closure is to facilitate N5 Road Project.
Objections in respect of the proposed closure may be made in writing to the Roads and Transportation Department or e-mailed to [email protected] to arrive not later than 5pm on Friday 18th April 2025.
