With “Team Michell and Monty” now up and running, Aileen, Sinead, Christine and Noelle are delighted to report that to date €2520.44 has been raised for Breast Cancer Ireland.
In an update, the girls have said:
“The couch to 10km has been successfully downloaded and Team Michell/Monty is up and running.”
“As the Team are geographically challenged we are all training separately until we meet in Dublin on the day.”
“The demon runs are happening in Boyle, Cloonloo, Maynooth and Belfast and have been through many bogs, swamps, streams, and varying uneven surfaces all over the country.”
“So far there have been no injuries….touch wood! We are checking in on-line for morale support most evenings aka….. laughing at each other’s progress!”
“Spirits are high due to the overwhelming response we have received to date.”
“Thank-you for your generous donations and superb wishes.”
