Tawnytaskin Community Centre has been awarded €12,500 towards renovations of the Centre.
The money has been allocated by Minister Michael Ring under the Community Enhancement Programme which provides capital grants to community groups to help them to enhance facilities in disadvantaged communities, according to the Department of Rural and Community Development.
An open application process for the €4.5 million programme was announced in 2019
In announcing the funding Minister Ring said “A relatively small amount of money can go a long way and this investment will greatly benefit local community projects throughout the country.”
St Ronan’s LGFC was also awarded funding of €1000 to purchase aluminum goal posts
