Trident swim club member and Croghan girl Gabriella Weaver recently won silver in the 50m freestyle at the Scottish National Open Championships and qualifies for the World Junior Swimming Championships in Singapore.
In the 2015 Division 2 Championships held recently in Limerick Boyle’s Diarmuid Sutton won silver in the 200m free and bronze in the 100m breast stroke.
Robin Weaver won gold in the 100m Breast stroke.
Both lads set new personal bests at the competition.
A number of Boyle youths swim with the Carrick on Shannon based Trident club.
