There is a strong Boyle connection to the upcoming Pop Up Theatre musical ‘Chicago’.
The musical will be staged in the Hawk’s Well Theatre in Sligo from Wednesday 17th until Saturday 20th April.
Brendan Reid plays Amos Harte, Karen Kane plays Go to hell Kitty, Elissa O’Dowd plays Hunyak, Darragh Beirne plays the Judge and Enda Regan plays the Doctor.
Boyle’s Shane McPhearson is the stage manager for the show and Robert Reid is his assistant.
Other actors taking part who are known from being on stage with Boyle Musical Society include Conor White, Sean McInerney, Cliona O Dowd, Conor De Faoite and Eva Hamilton.
The show is directed by Karen Gordon who is well known as a leading actress in various BMS shows.
Chicago runs from next Wednesday 17th until Saturday 20th. The show for the Saturday night has sold out already and there is limited availability for the other nights. Tickets have also gone on sale for a matinee show at 2.30pm on the Saturday.
