The 153rd Strokestown Agricultural and Industrial Show takes place this Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September.

Saturday’s highlights include the Sweeney Family All Ireland Beef Bullock Championship, the Greenvale Animal Feeds All-Ireland Beef Heifer Championship and the €12,000 Irish Angus All-Ireland Finals.

Sunday hosts the Horse & Pony Show Classes, Driving Competitions and the spectacular Dog Show (2 rings).

Sunday is also our Family Day with our Little Miss and Master Competitions and Baby Show.

Other highlights include Best Dressed Lady and Glamorous Granny Competitions.

This year also sees the return of the highly successful Flavours from the Heart Ireland Food & Drinks Fair. Once again showcasing the wealth of culinary delights from the locality and further afield, this year it will include appearances from Celebrity Chefs Neven Maguire, David Porter and Edward Hayden.
