There are a large number of St. Patrick’s Day parades taking place around the area on Sunday including the following:
12 noon – Sligo
12.45pm – Carrick on Shannon
2pm – Elphin
2.30pm – Ballaghaderreen
3pm – Ballintubber
3.30pm – Boyle
3.30pm – Ballymote
The Boyle parade will commence from Mockmoyne at 3.30pm, pass the reviewing stand on Bridge Street and conclude on the Crescent.
Please assemble at 2.30pm at Applegreen in Mockmoyne.
The committee organising the parade this year are as follows: J Ryan, D Dooley, M Downes, L Egan, B Kelly, A Kohler, D Shannon, B Simon and Keith Suffin.
