The Biz world programme run by Bank of Ireland in the local primary schools came to an end Friday night at the presentation of awards at the Enterprise Evening in the Spool Factory.
The overall winner was St. Joseph’s Boys NS with a company called “Home Vet”.
In second place was Scoil na nAingeal Naofa with “Parents Aware”.
Third place went to Corrigeenroe NS with “Cr Cover”.
The Abbey Community College Transition year programme was also officially launched on the night.
Special mention goes to Catherine Murray from Bank of Ireland who endeared herself to students and teachers alike as she led the programme in the schools.
