The annual Sliabh Ban walk to the cross on the mountain’s northern peak takes place on Sunday October 4th at 2pm.
The walk will commence on the main public access road to Sliabh Ban beside Frank’s pub in Ballybeg.
The walk celebrates the building of the large cross which was erected to honour Christian tradition in the Jubilee year of 1950.
The walk will take approximately two hours.
Refreshments will be provided along the way.
