Silver Salver award for Connaught Rangers Museum

At the recent 98th Annual Conference of the Royal British Legion Republic of Ireland in Dublin, the Connaught Rangers Association (CRA) were presented with the coveted Silver Salver in recognition of their outstanding work and achievements over the last number of years, including the redevelopment of CRA Museum in King House in Boyle.

Long standing CRA member, Mr. Michael Feeney MBE, accepted the award on the CRA’s behalf.

The Silver Salver was accompanied by an ornamental certificate that will be proudly displayed in the CRA Museum in King House.

The current CRA committee recognizes the hard work and dedication that former committees did in the past.

The Silver Salver was donated by Sir Peter Alexander Clutterbuck MC, British Ambassador to Ireland 1955 -59. It is awarded annually to Regimental Associations, Royal British Legion and kindred organizations.
