The N5 west of Ballaghaderreen has reopened following a serious road traffic collision involving two cars on Wednesday.
Gardai say one of the cars lost control due to icy road conditions and collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
Diversions were put in place on the old N5.
Emergency services along with the Air Ambulance attended.
