An urgent call has gone out for new scout leaders in Boyle
According to a spokesperson for scouting in the town: “At this stage Monday and Tuesday Beaver sections have started back and have taken in new members that had registered”.
“Our Monday and Tuesday Cub Sections have been joined together (hopefully only on a temporary basis) meeting on a Tuesday night, due to a shortage of Leaders on Monday night”.
“We hope to take in New Cubs this week that have registered with us”.
“Our Scouts and Venture Sections have not started back as yet, as both Sections still have a severe shortage of Leaders, especially female Leaders”.
“We continue to appeal for anyone that may be willing to help out, especially in Scouts and Ventures, so if you know of anyone, please do ask them to get in contact……”
“We would like to sincerely thank all of our existing Leaders that have returned once again for another year of fun and adventure and also to those people that have taken a leap of faith and agreed to become Leaders and in doing so have ensured that our young people can continue to enjoy Scouting in Boyle”.
