County Roscommon native and well known 2fm DJ Ruth Scott has announced her engagement to her long term boyfriend Rob Morgan, son of the late Dermot Morgan of Fr Ted fame.
Ruth took to Twitter to reveal the news stating that Rob proposed on New Years Eve.
Rob works as an accountant in the Merrion Hotel in Dublin and the couple have been together for three years.
Ruth is origionally from Elphin in County Roscommon and is the youngest of eight children.
Her family moved to Roscommon Town when she was ten.
Following work experience in Shannonside FM Ruth entered the “DJ for a day” competition in 2fm and later joined the company becoming one of it’s best known presenters.
