Roscommon Injury Unit is open over the Christmas period with the exception of Christmas Day
Injury Units are for the treatment of minor injuries that are unlikely to need admission to hospital.

You can just turn up and walk in or your GP may refer you.
There is no charge if you have a full medical card or have a GP referral letter. Otherwise it costs €75 to attend an injury unit.
The Roscommon Injury Unit at Roscommon University Hospital is open as follows:
Opening Hours:
8am to 8pm Open 7 days per week, 365 days per year. (including Bank Holidays, Closed Christmas Day)
Service Available To:
For patients aged 5 years and up.
In addition, Sligo University Hospital emergency department is open through out the Christmas period.
