Roscommon has lowest house prices

Good news if you are looking to buy a house in County Roscommon.
The county has the lowest average housing price in the country according to figures recently released by GeoDirectory.
The average price of a house in Roscommon in the year to June 2016 was €88,000.
Surrounding counties of Longford and Leitrim have prices below the €100,000 mark.
In Mayo, average property prices over the past year were just over 115,000 euro.
The figures also show that Leitrim had the highest vacancy rate at almost 30%, with Mayo at 24% and Roscommon at 21%.
The urban counties of Dublin, Kildare and Meath had the lowest vacancy rates.
