Roscommon native and Monaco based cyclist Daire Feeley will contest the World U23 road race in Innsbruck, Austria today Friday September 28th.
Daire is a member of a strong Irish team which includes current Sky rider Eddie Dunbar along with Michael O’Loughlin, Matt Teggart and Darragh O’Mahony.
The 180 km race over a mountainous course gets underway at 11.20am and is live on the UCI channel.
21 year old Daire is currently signed with Union Cycliste de Monaco.
The Union Cycliste de Monaco is the Principality of Monaco cycling’s club since 1952.
It has a membership of more than 200 and the club is divided into a road cycling section, MTB section as well as cyclocross and a cycling academy.
Daire recently finished an impressive 8th in the prestigious 5 day Volta Valencia.
