Role Skillnet moves to Boyle
Role Skillnet, a training network set up to support and fund training has moved to Boyle Enterprise Centre. Previously based in Carrick-on-Shannon, Role has funded over four hundred local and national companies since commencing in 2006.
Role Skillnet provide and support a variety of training including Leadership Development, Sales & Marketing, Health and Safety, and Financial Management. Training is tailored to client needs and can be delivered either on site or at convenient locations. Role Skillnet also provide training for jobseekers and work closely with support organisations to achieve this.
The promoters of the project are Boyle Chamber of Commerce. Speaking at the recent launch Chamber President Dara Callaghan said that the Chamber is delighted to welcome Role Skillnet to Boyle and believe it is a great opportunity for business to avail of training support. It is also he said “a great opportunity for employees and jobseekers to up skill”
Role will be managed at the Enterprise Centre by Michael Gilmartin. Sonia Dunne is the Administrator. Role Skillnet is funded by member companies and the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets Ltd. funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.
