Road closures around Boyle for filming of ’13 Hours’
Roscommon County Council has published a list of road closures that will come into operation during the filming of ’13 Hours’ in Boyle town.
Abbeytown Road, St. Patrick Street, Shop Street, Main Street, Eaton Lane, Bridge Street, Termon Road and Lower Marian Road are due to close for short terms at various times between 8am and 8pm when filming takes place, with delays of up to one hour expected. Diversions will also be in place.
Filming is due to take place in the town between June 28th and July 2nd and July 5th to July 8th.
The production company has also told Boyletoday.com that they will require “extras and would love for anyone who would like to be involved to email us with their name, age, height to [email protected]
“Because this is a low budget feature we will not be able to pay them but we will be able to supply cups of coffee and tea and maybe a few biscuits”.
Our plan is for the least amount of disruption to the local community as we film. Our crew are very professional and well versed in managing these types of shoots. We look forward to being in your wonderful town for about 2 weeks”.
