Rescue 118, the Strandhill based Sikorsky S-92 helicopter assisted in a medical emergency in Boyle Wednesday morning.
The helicopter met HSE Ambulance crew at Abbey Community College football pitch at approximately 10.40am
A patient was subsequently flown to University College Hospital in Galway.
