The annual Pike Angling Festival Boat Competition will take place this Saturday 31st March and Sunday 1st April on Lough Key, Boyle.
Starting on Saturday, fishing is from 11am until 6pm.
On Sunday, fishing will commence at 10am and conclude at 5pm
Organised by Boyle and District Angling club, there is nearly €5000 in prize money up for grabs.
Overall first prize is worth €2,500 plus the Moonstone Jewellers Cup.
€1175 prize money on both Saturday and Sunday.
Entrance fee is €60 per adult and €20 per junior.
Juniors must fish for junior prizes and must be accompanied by a fee paying adult.
Optional pool and one prize per angler.
