The annual Pike Angling Festival takes place in Boyle this weekend.
It will take place on Lough Key on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th April.
Saturday’s fishing is from 11am – 6pm and Sunday from 10am – 5pm
There is a €5000 guaranteed prize fund with the winner receiving €2500 plus the Moonstone Jewellers Perpetual Cup.
In addition, Saturday and Sunday’s winners will each receive €1175 in prize money.
Entry will be €60 per adult and €20 per junior.
Junior’s must fish for junior prize and be accompanied by a fee paying adult.
The Festival is organised annually by Boyle and District Angling Club.
