Open evening at Roscommon CBS
Roscommon CBS will hold its Open Evening for Fifth and Sixth Class boys and their families on Tuesday, October 10th from 6.30pm to 9pm.
The evening will provide students and their parents with an opportunity to sample a taste of school life in the CBS.
There will be opportunities to experience in a hands-on capacity the large array of subjects on offer in the CBS and to meet and chat with students and staff member. The Parents’ Council will also be in attendance to provide refreshments.
According to Principal Fiona Gallagher: ‘The Open Evening is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the work that is being done here in the CBS, our wide array of subjects, the professionalism of our teaching staff as well as our inclusive ethos which promotes high educational, developmental and pastoral standards at the school. We really look forward to meeting with the families who are considering sending their sons here, and providing them with the information they need in a warm, welcoming environment. We have a proud tradition of providing the highest in educational standards to those who come through our doors and we are delighted to have the chance to display this at our Open Evening!’
Principal Fiona Gallagher and Deputy Principal Gerry McGarry have been visiting primary schools in the catchment area. They wish to thank all schools for the warm, receptive welcome that they have received, and look forward to seeing the pupils again on October 10th.
