Heritage Week will take place this year from Saturday August 17th to Sunday August 25th and there are a number of interesting events taking place in and around Boyle.
Saturday August 17th:
Boyle Abbey, From Monastery to Barracks – King House 2-4pm
Boyle Historic Walking Tour – From grounds of King House 2-3pm
Guided Tour of Ardcane Old Graveyard – 11am-1pm.
Free Entry to Boyle Abbey – 17th and 18th August – 10am – 5.15pm
Tours of Frybrook House – 17th-22nd August – 11am – 3pm.
Wednesday August 21st:
Family History Clinic – Boyle Library – 11am-4pm.
The Origin and Development of Ballinafad – Ballinafad Community Hall – 8pm-9pm
Friday August 23rd:
The history and Evolution of the Telephone Network – Una Bhan Craft Shop – 1-1.30pm
