Founded by firm principal, Gordon Roe, Roe Solicitors are among a hand full of firms specializing purely in transactional matters. Gordon is an experienced solicitor having trained with “magic circle” law firm Mason, Hayes & Curran LLP before spending a number of years working with Holmes Solicitors and McCann FitzGerald LLP. Gordon holds a BA in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick, is a qualified tax advisor with the Irish Taxation Institute and is a qualified solicitor with the Law Society of Ireland. He has strong historic business links with the town of Boyle as his grandfather Alfie along with Alfie’s brother Bobby ran a successful car sales business on Elphin Street many years ago.
Gordon is joined in the practice by Amelia Keating. Before commencing her traineeship with the firm, Amelia spent time working in MHP Sellors LLP, Byrne Wallace LLP and Kennedys Law LLP.
Amelia holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) B.A. in English and History, a Masters Degree M.A. (Hons) in International Relations and a Bachelor of Laws LLB. (Hons) from the University of Limerick.
Amelia advises on a wide range of property matters including the acquisition and sale of residential and commercial property. She also acts for clients in relation to the preparation of Wills and the administration of Estates.
