Rev Fr Brian Conlon has announced his new appointment by Bishop Kevin Doran.
Fr Brian is due to take on further studies in Hospital Chaplaincy at the end of July.
This sadly means his departure from the Parish of Ardcarne and the Family Life Centre in Boyle.
Fr. Brian celebrated the 25th Anniversary of his ordination last July and also 10 years of being Priest in Charge of Ardcarne Parish.
Geevagh native Fr. Brian is well known in Boyle having received his secondary education in the former St. Mary’s College in the town and later serving as a Priest in St. Joseph’s as well as being the driving force behind Boyle Family Life Centre.
Fr Brian Conlon is a highly respected Priest whose departure will be sorely missed in Ardcarne Parish and in Boyle.
