Motorists travelling from Boyle to Roscommon and vice versa on the N61 are being advised of a near 8 week traffic diversion from Tuesday August 4th, according to Roscommon County Council’s website.
Roscommon County Council has decided to close the road set out in the schedule hereunder for the periods and the reason specified.
Road to be closed: N61 from Fourmilehouse Junction with R368 to Tulsk (N5 Junction)
Period of Closure: From 4th August to 25th September 2020
Alternative Routes: R368 & N5
Reason for Closures: Emergency resurfacing works.
A diversion, which can be seen here via Strokestown will be in place and motorists are being advised to allow extra time to complete their journey.
