N4 roadworks could last 6 months

Motorists travelling the N4 Boyle to Carrick-on-Shannon road could face disruption for the next 6 months.
Pipe laying in connection with Boyle/Ardcarne Regional Water Supply Scheme has commenced at Drumharlow
near Carrick Golf Club and could continue until November.
Roscommon Co Co have made a road works speed limit order to apply a road works speed limit
of 60km/h from a point 236m east of road L50605 Rockingham Demesne to a point
358m north west of road L5131 Drumharlow from 15th May for the duration of the works
subject to a maximum period of six months.
