‘My Roscommon’ takes place Saturday
Cathaoirlaeach of Roscommon County Council Ivan Connaughton is encouraging the public to take part in this saturday’s ‘My Roscommon’ photographic project.
“My Roscommon” is a photography project aimed at capturing a moment in time in Roscommon on a particular day in 2019.
On Saturday 30th March 2019, the public are encouraged to be part of a unique project by taking a picture of something, someone or somewhere in Roscommon to record life and place on this day in our county.
Using smart phones or cameras, capture a moment in your day and email it as part of the Cathaoirleach’s Award Programme 2019.
Images will be selected for publication/exhibition and a number of awards made under the following theme:
My Home/My People/My Community
Prizes in 3 Categories
Child: Up to 12 years
Young Person: 13-17 years
Adult: 18 and over
Taking a “photo journalistic” approach, the focus is on capturing life as it is happening in front of you. Join in this truly unique Roscommon photographic adventure.
