A Walk will be held today Sunday 16th of March along the Miners Way.
Participants will meet near the garden Centre in Lough Key Forest Park at 1.45pm.
The walk will start at the Organic Garden Centre near Knockvicar at 2.00pm. The walk would be described as easy and is about 11km long and will go along some beautiful forest Trails, through Errironagh bog towards Cloontykilla castle and along the shore of Lough Key and through part of Lough Key Forest Park.
The Walk is practically all on forest roads/paths and quite country roads and includes one km of a path through Errionagh bog.
Walkers are advised to use walking boots and to bring along a snack, drink, rain jacket and a mobile phone.
