A walk will be held on Sunday 15th of December on a section of The Miners’ Way and will include a Trail along an old railroad and a guided nature walk of Mountallen eco friendly farm. The walk includes a short section of Trail on the banks of Lough Allen with fabulous views of Slieve Anerin. Participants will meet at McRanns pub at Mountallen at 1.45pm. The walk is app. five Km in length and will take about two hours. Walking boots are essential and walkers are advised to bring along a rain jacket and a mobile phone. Everyone is welcome.
