A 42-year-old man has appeared in court in Roscommon charged in connection with an alleged serious assault on a man in Boyle in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Shannonside FM reports that Arturas Sakurskis with an address at Sycamore Crescent in Boyle made no response to the charges.
He was remanded in custody to Castlerea prison to appear at Harristown court next Friday morning.
A man in his 40’s is still in a serious but stable condition at Beaumont Hospital following an alleged assault in the early hours of yesterday.
