Well done to all in Scoil na nAingeal Naofa in Boyle who held a “Low Energy Usage Day” Wednesday the 5th of May as part of the Green Schools Program.
Students and Staff took small steps towards a greener future by encouraging the community to walk, scoot or cycle to school wherever possible.
Members of the Energy Saving Team ensured that lights were switched off whenever they were not needed and that there was minimum usage of devices.
Everyone made a huge effort and it has definitely made everyone more mindful of the importance of conserving energy.
