Lough Key Classic set for May 13th
This year’s Lough Key Classic cycling sportive will take place around Boyle on Sunday May 13th.
With some changes for 2018, there will be two distances on offer.
Experienced cyclists can undertake the 120k route through counties Sligo and Roscommon.
Also on offer will be a shorter 70k route.
Sign on and registration will be at the Sports Complex with the 120k and 70k events taking in a figure of 8 route with tea breaks at King House in Boyle.
Chairman of Curlieu Wheelers cycling club Declan Noone said the routes will show off Boyle in all it’s glory with riders taking in Lough Key Forest Park and the surrounding countryside.
There will be plenty of climbing as before and spectacular scenery on view.
This event is a Cycling Ireland affiliated Sportive, open to over 18’s only (Under 18’s allowed with full juvenile Cycling Ireland licence).
Entry remains as before at €20 and €25.
