Locals to attend water charges protest
A number of local Right2Water activists will travel to Dublin on Saturday for the national water charges demonstration.
A bus will collect those who are interested in travelling to the protest at the Crescent, Boyle at 9.40am.
It will make another stop in Carrick at 10am.
Buses are also travelling from Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon and Leitrim.
Pickups are also available with separate buses in Ballaghadereen, Castlerea and Roscommon.

Local AAA/PBP representative Eddie Conroy who is a member of the local Right2Water movement said:
“We are holding this national demonstration, to show the government, that democracy demands an end to water charges and Irish Water.
The Irish people will not accept the privatisation of yet another of our natural resources. Water is for life, not for profit.”
