On-Pitch First Aid Course – Level 1 for coaches and parents
Carrick on Shannon RFC have organised a one day sports related practical injury management course aimed at non-medical personnel – coaches, parents, players and referees involved with club or school team’s at any age level.
The course is run by fully qualified and certified Paramedics and some pre-learning will be required to be completed prior to the course commencing.
The course is scheduled to take place on Sunday January 24th 2016.
Carrick on Shannon RFC are inviting parents and coaches from other sports clubs to take part in the course.

The course costs €40 and will be of benefit to all participants both on and off the field, whether your involved in rugby, Gaelic, Soccer or any other sport.
Tommy Bowe to visit on Saturday November 28th
Recently Jason Roddy (Carrick RFC Senior Player) won “Training session with SUBWAY® Famous Fan competition,” Of the many fabulous prizes that Jason won for the club, the one that no doubt will attract most attention is the training session for the Carrick Senior Rugby team with Ireland International and Ulster winger Tommy Bowe. CRFC Minis (6 yrs to 11 yrs/Boys & Girls)
On Sunday November 22nd 2015, Carrick on Shannon RFC Minis will host Lansdowne RFC Minis at Carrick RFC at Keenaghan, (off the Castlecarra Road), Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim. As this is a home blitz, coaches are asking parents, both mums and dads to pitch in with the organisation of this blitz.
