Just a thought on how business might be continued in Boyle, and indeed in other towns, during these uncertain times.
Perhaps there might be a case whereby business owners can still continue to trade behind closed doors.
I would argue that there is no such thing as a non essential service. We all need products and services at any given time for many and varied reasons.
Boyle has a wealth of shops, service industries, restaurants and civic amenity premises which would be the envy of many towns of similar size.
I would encourage all business owners to stay open where possible , by appointment, by limited customer numbers, or by whatever means you feel comfortable with.
“ Boyle is Open for Business” could be a marketing slogan……
