The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Garvin, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and formally of Carrowcrory, Keash, Co.Sligo, on 10th June 2023 after a brief illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his parents Rita and Thomas Francis, brothers John and Martin (Manchester). Sadly missed by his loving sisters Maisie and Eithne, brothers Pat, Owen, Terry, Kevin and Dermot, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
A special mention to Ann Keaveney, The Plunkett Community Nursing Unit and also to his friends in the Day Care Centre for the many years of exceptional care and kindness.
Reposing in Mahon’s funeral home, Boyle on Monday 12th June, from 5pm to 7pm with removal from his sister Eithne’s home in Mockmoyne, Boyle on Tuesday morning to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, Boyle for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to Assylinn cemetery, Boyle. House private please.
A special thank you is also extended to Aine Burke and the staff of the Oncology Unit of Sligo University Hospital for their expertise and care.
