The death has occurred of Lucy Gaffney, (née Morrisroe), Carrick Road, Boyle, Roscommon, F52 X389.
Peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her husband Michael, brothers Dominick, Pat, Tony, Tom and Gerard, daughter in law Yvonne.
Sadly missed by her loving sister Mary Ellen Anderson (Boston), her children Francis, Michael, Jacinta, Brendan, Eithne, and Arnold. Daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters in law, the extended Morrisroe and Gaffney families, all her friends and neighbours. The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the care team and nurses who looked after her so well.
Lying at her home in repose F52 X389 this Friday, the 8th of September, from 5pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, the 9th of September, at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle, followed by burial at Assylinn Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
