The death has occurred of Very Rev. Seán Tynan, Keadue, Roscommon / Legan, Longford / Leitrim
(Native of Legan Co. Longford) Retired Parish Priest of Kilronan, Co. Roscommon and Killenummery, Co. Leitrim.
Lovingly cared for by nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford. Beloved son of the late Ned and Molly Tynan.
Deeply mourned by his brothers Henry, Andy and Eamonn, sister Kathleen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, Bishop Francis Duffy, Bishop Emeritus Colm O’ Reilly, priests of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise, and former parishioners.
Reposing at Laurel Lodge, Nursing Home, Longford on Friday from 4pm with Prayer Service at 6pm. Removal to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Keadue arriving 8pm.
Concelebrated Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Church grounds. No flowers please.
