The death has occurred of Eilish Shannon, (nee Giblin), Mahanagh, Cloonloo, Boyle, Co. Sligo and Abbey Haven Nursing Unit, Boyle, unexpectedly but peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her loving husband Joe, son Joe, son-in-law Michael Melia, sister Kay, brothers Fergus and Eamonn, sisters-in-law Eithne Giblin and Mary Sherlock, brothers-in-law John Shannon and Hubert Duffy
Deeply regretted by her sons Eamonn and David (Cloonloo), Brendan (Holland), daughter Margaret Melia (Carrick-on-Shannon), sisters Maureen O’Brien and Christina Clynes (Dublin), daughters in law Linda and Fiona, Brendan’s partner Diane, Margaret’s partner Noel, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Mahanagh, Cloonloo (F52T659) on Tuesday 11th February from 4pm-8pm.
Removal from her home on Wednesday morning 12th February to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock in St. Josephs Church Cloonloo with burial afterwards in Templeronan Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Abbey Haven Patient Comfort fund.
Mass will be live streamed on John Judge and Sons Funeral Directors Facebook Page for those who cannot attend.
