The death has occurred of Bridget (Bea) Higgins, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and Summerhill, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
– 20th August 2024 –
Bea passed away peacefully in The North West Hospice, Sligo, and was previously in the wonderful care of the staff in Abbeyhaven Nursing Home, Boyle.
Bea will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her nieces, relatives and friends.

Bea will repose in Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle (Eircode F52 ND23), on Wednesday (21st August) from 6pm until 6.45pm with removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle, for prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ardcarne (Old) Cemetery.
